Eating Disorders: Anorexia, Bulimia and gaining weight
Anorexia doesn't affect only youngsters these days. There are plenty of people in their middle ages that are victims of Anorexia
and other eating disorders as Bulimia. Most anorexia patients do not realize how they are harming their bodies
and not to forget their enviroment by not in taking food. Our body needs
enough, good and healthy food. Without food, we are bound to suffer complications. Due to less intake of food, the bones can get affected, owing to bone loss or bone damage. Our body needs nutrients and if we don't eat food, there will be a lack of nutrients which will owe to other complications. For women, often anorexia causes problems with the menstruation cycle, which in turns leads to infertility. This
eating disorder or disease is mostly common among women but about 10% of people affected are males too.
Parents if you have young daughters, keep an extra eye if you don't trust it. This disease is catching on fast. Make sure your kids are eating a healthy meal, gain weight normally when growing up. It is important that they eat on a regular base, minimal three times a day. If they keep skipping meals or go often to the toilet after dinner, that could be an early warning for you. Anorexia has claimed many lives; do not let it claim the life of one of your loved ones. Diets are good and eating less and staying healthy is indeed good for you but starving is last thing you should do.
